...though it may have been the fact that I watched it with 25 high school girls. My sister had a graduation/Royal Wedding watching party (pictures to come) and needless to say...I didn't get much sleep last night. You should have heard the screams when the princes arrived. ;)
Did you love her dress? She looked timeless or as my mother put it, "She could be wearing nothing and she'd be gorgeous." So true.
If you get a chance, listen to or read the Bishop of London's sermon from the service. I thought it was brilliant. This part was one of my favorites,
"In a sense every wedding is a royal wedding with the bride and the groom as king and queen of creation, making a new life together so that life can flow through them into the future.
William and Catherine, you have chosen to be married in the sight of a generous God who so loved the world that he gave himself to us in the person of Jesus Christ.
And in the Spirit of this generous God, husband and wife are to give themselves to each another."
Such beautiful words and so well said.
I hope you all have a blessed day! I'll just be here at work wishing I was a princess and trying to hold my eyelids open!
